She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Jean. Tim (46) joined Phil (53) after an illustrious coaching career at Arizona State from 2011 to 2016.

Six-time Major champion Phil Mickelson took to social media to reveal that his brother, Tim, is retiring from his role as caddie. She is survived by her husband, Jim daughter, Andrea (Mike) Kreifels of Milaca sons, Timothy (Mary) Mickelson of Milaca and Anthony Mickelson and Courtney Robbins of Milaca five grandchildren, Ashlyn Kreifels, Alexis Kreifels, Noah Kreifels, Bradley Hatch, and Tera Mickelson sister, Joni (Jim) Benedict of Foreston brother, James (Linda) Smith of Appelton, WI brother-in-law, Butch (Rhonda) Broberg of Robbinsdale, MN also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mickelson parts ways with longtime caddie. She died on Friday, Decemat her home in Foreston. Jackie especially enjoyed Christmas with her family and friends. She liked taking a cruise with her very special friends in her classic convertible. She enjoyed knitting, taking care of her flower garden, and going to Arizona in the winter. She loved bragging about them and taking them to the cabin to fish and put puzzles together.

Her main loves were her five grandchildren. Jackie worked as a waitress at the Hi-Way Cafe and M.J.’s Restaurant for many years before she retired in 1995. Since 1976, they have made their home in Foreston, MN. The couple lived in Minneapolis for a year before moving back to the Milaca area. She married James Mickelson on Jand to this marriage three children were born, Andrea, Tim, and Tony. She attended Milaca High School, graduating in 1966. Jackie Mickeslon was born Februin Milaca, MN to Neil and Ramona (Jacobson) Smith. Casketbearers will include Darrell Herges, Pat Faust, Russ Kallem, Russ Vogt, Jeff Ohman and Jeremy Ohman. Phil Mickelson has employed his brother Tim as a full-time caddie for the better part of three years.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM on Tuesday at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca. Funeral services for Jackie Mickelson, age 62, of Foreston, will be held on Wednesday, Decemat 11 AM at Milaca Alliance Church with Rev.
